Ernesto Chávez added some punch to the New York offense, helping them outmuscle the Mexico City Diablos, 11-7. In the game, Chávez, who is tied for 10th in the PL in bases on balls with 60, went 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The winning pitcher was Muslih bin Ragheb. He's now 12-8. Ljuba Aleksic had a big 2-run triple for the Giants in the top of the first inning. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Giants ahead, 3-0.
