Bush Blasts Kings, RedLeafs Take Game 2, 6-5
The Toronto RedLeafs relied on the hitting of shortstop Warren Bush to get by the New York Kings, 6-5, in Game 2 of the League Cup today. For the game, Bush was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

Toronto used the clutch hitting of Grigory Takahashi to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the RedLeafs the lead, 5-4. For the game, Takahashi had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Takahashi said. "And the same is true when you lose."

Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Loblaws Park at RedLeaf Gardens in Toronto.
