Green Bay third baseman Horiuchi Takahashi had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the St. Paul Saints, 6-3. At 44-60, the Blizzard claim last place in the Players League Northern Division.

With Green Bay leading 3-1 in the top of the fourth, Takahashi hit a changeup from Min-ho Ch'ae for a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Blizzard ahead, 5-1.

Takahashi called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
