Divisional Cup Goes the Distance, New Mexico Prevails Wednesday, October 14th , 2048 It was a rousing finish to the Divisional Cup at Ambetter Field today. The New Mexico Suns sent the New Orleans VooDoo home for the season with a 3-1 win in the decisive game of the series. The Suns took the series 4-3. Up next on their schedule is the League Cup. Hauling in the MVP trophy was New Mexico first baseman Carlos Barrera. His numbers included a .407 batting average, 5 RBIs and 3 runs.
