Twin Cities Downs Pittsburgh as Aase Tosses 3-0 Shutout
|
All went well for Don Aase of the Twin Cities Trappers as he pitched his team to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Pittsburgh Maulers, limiting them to 4 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Aase on the day.
"Don's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Trappers manager . "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."
In the contest, the Twin Cities right-hander rang up 6 and surrendered 1 walk.
"He didn't give us any second chances," said Maulers manager . "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
