Serum Shines, Shuts Out Birmingham, 8-0
|
Gary Serum humbled the Birmingham Vulcans today at Austin Fields in a shutout win. In the 8-0 victory, the Salt Lake Bees starter yielded 6 hits, fanned 7 and walked 2.
"Hard not to go home happy after a game like that," Serum said.
Serum's record so far this season is 4-and-1 with no saves and a 3.07 ERA. He has given up 46 hits in 44 innings with 23 strikeouts.
