Camrose Sweeps into the Round 2 Tuesday, September 14th , 2032 The Camrose Axemen proved to be too much to handle for the Youngstown Union in the Round 1, and a sweep was the end result. Camrose punched its ticket to the Round 2 on the strength of a 11-2 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 2-0. Camrose first baseman Héctor Miranda, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Youngstown pitching to the tune of a .571 average, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Camrose Axemen will play against the North Side Bootleggers in the next round. North Side had a bye in the Round 1.
