Marquis Belts 5 Hits Friday, April 25th , 2031 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Madawaska Valley's Juan Marquis made it happen today against the Warriors. Everything came together at the plate for the 16-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Wolves to a 12-6 win at Varsity Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Marquis said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Juan Marquis singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This season Marquis has delivered 20 hits in 44 at-bats for a .455 average with no home runs. He is getting on base at a .478 clip and his totals also include 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
