Extra-Inning Win by Huracanes Over Loros
Punta Cana Huracanes starter Angelo Rojas worked his magic, as he helped his team defeat the La Vega Loros, 2-0. Armando Sanchez, now 5-2, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 3 and walking 0. The 5th-place Huracanes now have a 4-game winning streak.

Punta Cana won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Victor Flores on the mound for La Vega, pinch hitter Montrell Rangel hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Huracanes fans to their feet.

"This team was really clicking on all cylinders," said Punta Cana manager Moises Castillo. "We had several crucial at-bats, and our guys came through."
