Delgado Lifts Horsemen to 6-5 Win
Omaha left fielder Jose Delgado picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Albany Crows, 6-5. Dennis McCleskey earned save number 33 this season. The third-place Horsemen now have a win-loss record of 72-60.

Delgado had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-2 curveball from Rico Yanes, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Horsemen a 6-5 lead. It was the 28th home run of the year for Delgado.

Postgame, Horsemen manager Jimmy Schwarz complimented Delgado. "No question about it. Pinocchio was terrific."
