Tornado Alley Park was the site of a competitive game between the Macon Bacon and Dallas Tornados.

The Dallas Tornados topped the Macon Bacon, 5-3, in United States Baseball League action at Tornado Alley Park. The standout performance belonged to Dallas pitcher and Carolina, Puerto Rico, native David Salinas. Dallas reliever Mike Rios picked up the win, upping his record to 10-4. Miguel Rodriguez was saddled with the loss. Jonathan Angeles closed the door for Dallas, picking up his 4th save of the year.

Bill Escoboso, who finished 3rd in the NL in slugging percentage with .585 in 2040, chipped in for Dallas with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.

"This was a good win for us," said Escoboso. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."

The loss makes Macon 85-54.
