Lopez Twirls 2-0 Shutout Tuesday, June 24th , 2053 Ivan Lopez of the Omaha Horsemen was on fire against the Macon Bacon at Pig Pen today. He shut them out 2-0 on 5 hits, collecting 7 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Lopez said later. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that."
