Yoshimoto Blanks Omaha, 5-0 Friday, June 27th , 2053 Albany Crows hurler Kadonomaro Yoshimoto was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Omaha Horsemen, shutting them out 5-0 on 6 hits. "Kadonomaro was very aggressive tonight," Albany manager Drew Klaus said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Yoshimoto tallied 10 strikeouts and allowed no walks. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Jimmy Schwarz said. "Yoshimoto has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off." To date Yoshimoto is 7-3 in 15 starts with a 3.65 ERA and has 66 strikeouts in 93.2 innings.
