5 Hits for Drakon Andrews Friday, August 8th , 2053 The Hamilton Beavers couldn't stop Mike Andrews today, but they stopped the Hastings Drakon, 10-7. Andrews went 5-for-5 in the game at Werewolves Ballpark, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score. "I feel bad for Mike -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said Hastings manager Mario Martinez. "The Beavers were on their game today." Mike Andrews hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Reynaldo Morales in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Andrews is presently hitting at a .328 pace with 14 home runs, 63 RBIs and has scored 59 times. |
