"This is one of the hardest parts of my job," GM told a hushed crowd of reporters who assembled for a press conference. "It was a tough decision. But while we might argue over what blame to place where in our organization, one thing we can all agree on is we all have a stake in turning this team around. That's the goal of today's decision."
