Charlotte right fielder William Lugo had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Honolulu Suns at Suns Ballpark as the Blizzard picked up a 24-7 victory.

"He was patient up there today," Charlotte skipper Michael Barrett told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Lugo has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

William Lugo singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Valentin Linarez in the 8th and walked in the 9th.

Batting .366 to date, Lugo has 7 home runs and 34 RBIs.
