Blue Pirates, Orioles Make Trade Saturday, July 30th , 2022 After a week of negotiations, the Blue Pirates and Orioles have come to terms on a deal that will send 25-year old minor league 3B Romy Gonzalez, 23-year old minor league SS Nick Allen, 24-year old minor league RHP Luis Gil, and 23-year old minor league RF Mason House to Baltimore for 23-year old 2B Jacob Amaya, 24-year old minor league C William Contreras, and 23-year old minor league SS Chris Seise. For the year Allen is batting .291 with 1 home run. Amaya is presently hitting at a .224 pace with 7 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has played in 93 games and scored 36 times. |
