Phillies-White Sox Swap Confirmed Saturday, July 30th , 2022 Philadelphia and Chicago (W) have agreed in principle to a trade. The Phillies will send 36-year old 1B Darin Ruf to the White Sox for 26-year old 1B Jake Bauers. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. This year Ruf has 8 home runs and a .174 batting average. Bauers is swinging at a .233 pace on the year with 13 home runs, 43 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has played in 72 games. |
