Eovaldi Stops Seattle Monday, September 12th , 2022 Nathan Eovaldi was impressive at Safeco Field today in the St. Louis Cardinals' 7-0 shutout victory over the Seattle Mariners. The St. Louis pitcher mystified the Mariners in a strong performance, giving up 3 hits and totaling 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. "Nathan had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," St. Louis manager Johnny Rocha. "It was something special to watch." This year Eovaldi has recorded a 14-6 mark.
