1B Yordan Alvarez Hurt Friday, September 23rd , 2022 Houston Astros first baseman Yordan Alvarez suffered knee tendinitis during a recent game with the Baltimore Orioles and will miss 5-6 weeks. Alvarez told BNN, "I hurt it running the bases. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." Alvarez is hitting .267 for the season with 40 home runs, 98 RBIs and 77 runs scored. He has 117 hits in 439 at-bats and played in 118 games. |
