Judge Parks 3 HR in the Seats Tuesday, October 4th , 2022 Aaron Judge went on an explosive hitting spree against the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the Chicago (C) Cubs to the 12-4 win. The right fielder finished 4-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI. "It was just one of those days," Judge said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." St. Louis skipper Johnny Rocha said Judge was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Aaron Judge hit a solo-shot off Carlos Rodon in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Raisel Iglesias in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Miles Mikolas in the 8th. In his season totals, Judge has 18 home runs, .287 BA, .357 OBP, 58 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has played in 74 games. |
