San Diego, Baltimore Confirm Deal Wednesday, July 12th , 2023 Today at a press conference the San Diego Padres announced a trade has been completed with the Baltimore Orioles. The Padres have shipped 26-year old minor league 1B Keston Hiura, 23-year old minor league C Pat Winkel, 25-year old minor league C Eli Wilson, and 22-year old minor league LHP Jordi Martinez to the Orioles for 24-year old minor league 1B Buddy Kennedy and 24-year old minor league LF Nelson Velazquez. Hiura is currently batting .171 with 3 home runs and 3 RBIs. Presently Kennedy is batting .312 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs. He has played in 15 games and scored 8 times. |
