Thorpe Has Season End

Clearly dejected, Drew Thorpe left the South Browning clubhouse nearly in tears this afternoon. He acknowledged that his season is over after sustaining a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in a ballgame recently. It brings an early end to the South Browning starting pitcher's season.
This year Thorpe has fanned 41 in 47 innings and collected a 3-3 record with a 4.02 ERA.

Season Done for Bash
Wednesday, June 5th , 2024
Andrew Bash has to call it a season. The Chattanooga Lookouts reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 06/04/2024 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months.
The team will likely place Bash on the injured list today.
So far this season Bash has worked 4.1 innings in 5 relief appearances with 0 saves. He has dished out 4 strikeouts and walked 3 with a 0-0 mark and a 2.08 ERA.

Midland Loses Pardinho for Season

After several days of waiting for test results, bad news was delivered to Eric Pardinho today. The Midland reliever will be out the rest of the year due to shoulder inflammation he suffered on 06/03/2024.
Taking a look at his season, Pardinho has made 6 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 5.68 ERA. In pitching 12.2 innings, he has totaled 14 strikeouts and 8 walks.
