A+ Player of the Week Goes to Morel of Frederick Monday, July 25th , 2022 So far in his young career, Christopher Morel has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the High-A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Frederick Keys shortstop hit at a torrid .571 clip as he collected 12 hits in 21 at-bats, 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 8 runs scored. For the season Morel is batting .289 with 94 hits and 22 home runs. He has scored 61 times and batted in 77. |
