Hot Bat Cooled, Jenkins Hitless Against Emeralds Thursday, August 3rd , 2023 White Hall defeated Hampshire 5-3 today at Emeralds Ballpark, but saw the 20-game hitting streak of Aces first baseman Andrew Jenkins snapped -- the Emeralds held Jenkins hitless in 6 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," he said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the win today. That's all that really counts." For the year Jenkins has hit .325 with 12 home runs, 58 RBIs and scored 65 runs. |
