Unicorns End Tredaway's Streak Wednesday, August 30th , 2023 The Kansas City Red Devils lost to the Buena Unicorns 5-4 today at Red Devils Stadium, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Tanner Tredaway's 21-game hitting streak. The second baseman went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Tredaway, we would win the game," Unicorns manager Jody Reed explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." This year Tredaway has hit at a .382 pace and produced 25 RBIs, no home runs and scored 30 runs. |
