Butler Grabs AL Best Batter Award for August Friday, September 1st , 2023 Lawrence Butler put together a good August to earn the Atlantic League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Garland officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Bullets left fielder posted a .373 batting average with 6 home runs, 18 RBIs and 26 runs scored. For the season Butler has produced 125 hits in 411 at-bats for a .304 average with 14 home runs and gotten on base at a .413 clip. |
