Wymore Takes Division Series Friday, September 15th , 2023 The Wymore Chinooks clubhouse was filled with glee and celebration tonight, while the Higginsville Brawlers room was filled with despair and sadness after the Division Series concluded. "Someone's got to win and someone's got to lose, we're just glad we're on the good end of it tonight and can enjoy this," said Cooper Kinney, who was named MVP for a strong series of offensive performance. Wymore won the final game by a 13-6 count at Brawlers Stadium and the series 3-1. Higginsville manager Matt Murton was simple and to-the-point in his assessment of the series. "They were the better team and deserve to move on," he said. For the series, Kinney hit .647 with a .684 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Wymore Chinooks will play against the Fresno Wild Horses in the next round. Fresno won their series against the White Hall Aces 3 games to 1.
