Vargas Gets Injury Report Tuesday, August 27th , 2024 Angel Vargas, the Boston (DSL) reliever, was less than thrilled to learn that his recent injury would keep him out of the rest of the season and any postseason action. "The playoffs?" he said. "Are you kidding me? The playoffs?" Vargas has a torn meniscus, an injury that has hampered him since 08/24/2024. So far this season Vargas has no saves in 25 relief appearances with a 1-2 record and 3.73 ERA. |
