Straw Extends Hit Streak to 1 Games Sunday, December 19th , 2021 Myles Straw ran his hitting streak to 1 straight games today at Saguaros Stadium, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Glendale Desert Dogs dropped the game, 1-0, to the Surprise Saguaros. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Straw said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Myles Straw grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. Straw on the season is hitting .345 with 1 home run. His stats include 16 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
