Brewers Rally to Win
Brian Giles had a 4-RBI game, during Milwaukee's 9-8 triumph over the Minnesota Twins. Giles contributed 2 singles and 1 home run to the cause. Rod Getz snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Paul Thorpe suffered the loss. The win gives Milwaukee a season record of 49-40.

The decisive blow was delivered by Dmitri Young in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 35-year old right-handed pitcher Paul Thorpe to win the game for Milwaukee. The home crowd went nuts.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Giles. "I like it."
