Royals Score Late, Stun Cubs, 4-3
The Kansas City Royals picked up a win at Wrigley Field 1979, taking down the Chicago Cubs, 4-3. Starting pitcher Paul Quantrill was a big reason why. Picking up the save was Armando Barajas. He's now 12 for 18 in save chances. The 60-31 Royals lead the American League Central Division by one game.

Preston Wilson had a direct impact on the outcome. Wilson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Kansas City up, 4-3.

"Paul is good at sticking to his strengths," said Kansas City manager Gamma KC.
