Expos Lose to Yankees Despite Scoring 10 Runs
|
A 4-RBI performance from J.D. Drew, who is tied for 10th in the AL in hits with 121, helped the New York Yankees beat the Montreal Expos, 13-10. The American League East Division-leading Yankees have a record of 58-33.
Ramon Hernandez, who is on pace for 105 RBI this season, chipped in a grand slam home run for New York in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBI.
"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Drew said.
