Stephenson Fashions Shutout Against Portland
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Portland Sea Dogs as starter Brian Stephenson shut them out, 3-0, at Sea Dogs Field. The Reading pitcher struck out 10 and walked 0 while allowing 2 hits.

"Stephenson was good but he wasn't flawless," Portland manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Reading, but this is on us."
