Big Day for Lamb in 15-7 Devil Rays Win
Tampa Bay second baseman David Lamb had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Toronto Blue Jays, 15-7. The win was credited to 24-year old right-handed pitcher Jason Middlebrook in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Angel Macias took the loss. The win gives the Devil Rays a record of 12-23.

Pedro Castellano hit a 2-run double off Tom Niedenfuer in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Devil Rays in front, 8-6. In addition to the double, Castellano had 2 singles, while going 3 for 6.
