TL's Best Batter Picked Wednesday, September 1st , 1999 Memphis Blues fans believe they've got a talented young star in Ryan Cisar. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .404 with 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and 22 runs scored. The end result was the catcher being named the Texas League Batter of the Month. On the season, Cisar is batting .399 with 20 home runs and 41 RBIs. He has played in 39 games. |
