The Salinas Fire Frogs hurler pitched shutout ball against the San Jose Bees en route to his team's 17-0 win at San Jose Municipal Stadium. In the game, Gorecki rang up 8 strikeouts, walked 2, and allowed 6 hits. "Rick looked like a real ace out there," Salinas manager said.
