Velasquez Wins NTL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 5th , 2000 Arturo Velasquez of the St. Cloud Rox put the finishing touch on an exceptional week of play by being named the Northern League Player of the Week. He rocked the opposition with a .577 batting average, 15 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs while scoring 5 times. Thus far this year, Velasquez is batting .312 with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 20 runs scored. |
