SAL Star of the Week Named

It was a fantastic week for Greensboro center fielder Joe Sarbu and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Award.
Last week Sarbu hammered the ball at a torrid .455 pace, going 10-for-22 with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
This season Sarbu is hitting .211 with 7 home runs.
