Mike Wheeler went on a week-long hitting spree against Pacific Conference pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors.
The Salt Lake left fielder battered the opposition for 15 hits, 1 home run, 9 runs batted in and scored 8 runs. He hit .577 and posted a .607 on-base percentage.
This year Wheeler is hitting .276, produced 51 RBIs and 14 home runs, scored 60 times and gotten on base at a .366 rate.
