Taylor Novak brought his A-game to help Ontario defeat the Kentucky Lions, 6-0. At 28-31, Ontario is in second place in the Patriot League North.

Novak allowed no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings for the Blue Pirates. With the win, he is 4-3 with an ERA of 4.54.

"Taylor throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Ontario manager Shaun Young.
