Vipers Shut Out Yellowhammers, Medici Winner
Thursday, November 5th , 2065
Greg Medici shut out the Alabama Yellowhammers 4-0 on a 2-hit masterpiece for the Arizona Vipers at The Snake Pit today.
"He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Arizona skipper Alex Cumana said afterward.
Medici registered 7 strikeouts and issued no walks in pitching a gem.
"We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Alabama manager Liam Maroney after the defeat.
On his stats sheet for the year Medici shows a 15-8 record, 32 starts, 222.1 innings, 227 strikeouts and a 3.00 ERA.

Vipers Heading to Federation Cup Series
Tuesday, November 3rd , 2065
Being named series MVP was little solace for José Flores after the Arizona Vipers eliminated his New Mexico Danger from the playoffs.
Arizona won the final game 2-0 at The Danger Zone and wrapped up the series 4-2.
"I couldn't care less about an MVP award when we don't even win," Flores said. "I would rather have played terrible but still had a chance to win the Federation Cup Series."
Meanwhile, the Arizona clubhouse was alive with celebration after the victory, with the team's skipper Alex Cumana saying his team is "confident and strong" going into the Federation Cup Series.
The Federation Cup Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
