The Pennsylvania Railroaders beat the Alabama Yellowhammers, 4-3. Pennsylvania pitcher and Launceston, Australia, native Bernie Custello led the way. The save went to Lysander Kalergi, his 21st this season. The victory puts Pennsylvania at 41-63.

The Railroaders got a big hit from left fielder Iván López. In the bottom of the fifth, López pounded a 2-run double to right. His 14th double of the season put the Railroaders ahead, 4-1.

"I got in a good groove," said Custello. "I was getting some swings and misses."
