Bears Lose By a Run at Minnesota
Jerry Estevez pitched a gem to lead Minnesota to victory over the Colorado Bears, 2-1. Early on, the Mallards, at 20-6, have played an impressive brand of baseball.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Mallards had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when catcher Dusty Burton hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Jose Rosales and made the score 2-0, Mallards. Burton went 1-3.

Burton attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
