The Maryland Bridegrooms topped the New York Empire by a score of 9-7. Leading the way was pinch hitter Art Burke. Burke went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bridegrooms. Maryland has run its win streak to 4 straight.

Maryland got a knockout punch from Corey Ibach. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
