The Minnesota Mallards topped the Maryland Bridegrooms, 4-2, the lion's share of the credit going to designated hitter Bobby Avalos. On the day, Avalos went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Mallards. The win was credited to Keith Olson in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Rob Herrera took the loss. The win for the Mallards lifted their record to 59-19.
