Minnesota Mallards starter Jerry Estevez found his groove in his team's 4-3 win over the New Mexico Danger. Jeremy McKenna notched his 6th save in 9 chances. The Mallards improved to a lofty 65-25.

Minnesota took a 4-3 lead on Bobby Avalos's 16th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Avalos hit in the bottom of the eighth, left New Mexico pitcher Dave Garrett visibly frustrated.
