Titans Roll to 8-1 Win Over Aviators
|
North Carolina had no answer for Georgia Titans hurler Noah Corbell, who overwhelmed Aviators hitters as the Titans coasted to victory, 8-1. With the win, the Titans have a record of 80-68.
Roberto Chavez hit a run-scoring double off Marcus Bagley in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Titans in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Chavez had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Rob Chapman.
