Louisville's Steele Snaps Up Player of the Week
Monday, September 9th , 2047
It was announced today that Louisville first baseman Steve Steele had received the South Conference Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week.
All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .522 BA (12-for-23), 1 home run and 6 RBIs.
This season Steele is batting .284 with 11 home runs. He has scored 62 runs and driven in 45.
