Burns Selected PC Player of the Week Monday, June 10th , 2047 A battle-tested Jim Burns declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Tacoma first baseman collected the Pacific Conference Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .526 average, 10 hits in 19 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Burns is hitting .255 with 9 home runs. |
