Storm Chasers Mathematically Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 20th , 2047 Things haven't been going too well for the Omaha Storm Chasers this season and now mathematics is against them as well. The club has been officially eliminated from postseason contention. The Storm Chasers have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 31 years as a Pacific Coast League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2045. In the last 10 seasons, the Storm Chasers have missed the playoffs 5 times.
